Pack: Corrupted Fang Pack
Pack Totem: The Bat
The Bat soars freely through the Shattered Labyrinth, mocking those who fail to find their way. The night is hers, and she uses her advantage in darkness to torment those who are lost. She instills terror in friend and foe alike. Her bastards are like to swoop down out of the night, attacking with the element of surprise.
Traits: Bat grants an additional die to all Intimidation, Stealth, and Survival rolls. She also teaches her bastards two Gifts: Patagia and Ears of the Bat. Though the Dancers she leads astray find crossing the Second and Third circles of the Shattered Labyrinth more difficult, she later rewards them by lowering the difficulty of all rolls involving flight or sonar by two.
Ban: The pack must breed a small family of bats. When these lovelies feed, the werewolves must also devour the insects they have gathered. Bat's bastards are also fanatic about preserving the Veil. Without it, their element of surprise is lost.
Some Terms to Be Familiar With:
The pack is made up of four members, only one of which is present in Los Angeles at the moment. The pack is fiercely loyal to Pentex, even occasionally placing the corporation above the local Hives. Naturally, this reverence for the Weaver's works earns them suspicion from other Dancers.
The pack belongs to a budding Hive in the Los Angeles area. The Hive's Pit is located in the worst part of the slums, where human suffering feeds the Banes and Wyrm-spirits that call the Pit home. All of the members of the Hive work for Pentex, though all but the Corrupted Fangs are members of Pentex's first strike teams, used to protect the corporation from Garou and other supernatural threats. The Pit might once have been an urban caern. It is a medium sized, underground space (probably an old bomb shelter, though it's hard to tell through all the filth and decay), surrounded on all sides by slums. The soil is rich with decades of built-up toxic waste. In the slums (and the one building maintained by the corporation's wolves), Black Spirals and their kin live in degenerate decay. The stench of Wyrm-taint does not just permeate the Pit, it permeates a large radius of the surrounding slums.
The Corrupted Fangs maintain their own space above the Pit, in far more luxurious settings. There, the pack (of which Zaizane is the sole member present at the moment) raises a small colony of bats for their totem Bat. As this is the pack's haven near the Pit, this is not the "home" that Zaizane would invite clients or business partners to see. Rather, it is where they would gather for a little pack "bonding", or perhaps "get to know their Kin a little better". The horrifying is commonplace, even among the outwardly respectable corporate wolves.
About Growing Up Among the Black Spiral Dancers:
Dancer bastards learn the Hive's degeneracy early. Metis are often given the honor of raising the mewling pup, and when one considers how twisted and depraved metis Garou can be while in the Thrall of the Wyrm, one understands just how sick and twisted a nursemaid one of these permanently Wyrm-tainted metis would be. Bastards are prepared not for human life, but for a life serving the Wyrm, glorying in depravities that would make mortal men go mad. They do not learn about "love", "compassion", or even "honor". Black Spirals who grew up outside the Hive are only slightly less corrupt.

Some Terms to Be Familiar With:
- Hive - A sept. A group of Dancers living in their corrupted Wyrm caern. May be made up of more than one pack.
- Pit - A Wyrm-dedicated caern. Those not dedicated to the Wyrm are not allowed inside under any circumstances. When prisoners are invited to the Shattered Labyrinth, the Rite of the Black Spiral is held outside of the Pit.
- Shattered Labyrinth - Sometimes called the Spiral Labyrinth, this is the place where Black Spiral Dancers "dance the spiral" to commune with the Wyrm. It is not a place in the physical realm, but can be reached via vision quest during the Rite of the Black Spiral. It is also present deep in the Wyrm-controlled portions of the Umbra. It is made up of nine circles which present physical and mental challenges to the Dancer and brings the Dancer more perfectly in line with the Wyrm's madness.
- White Howler - A former Garou tribe made up of the Scottish and Pict tribes of Europe. There are no more White Howlers; they have all been corrupted into Black Spiral Dancers. Once in a generation, a pathetic throwback to the White Howlers is born. When born in a Hive, the mewling bastard is put to death. When born among other Garou tribes, especially Fianna (who share the White Howlers' Celtic blood), the cub earns the wrath of all nearby Dancers and the suspicion of other Garou. It does not survive.
- Bastard - Black Spiral offspring. So named because Black Spirals seldom observe human or Garou laws of mating. The females choose their mates...as many as they like, human, wolf, or Dancer alike. To be born a Black Spiral metis is to be considered blessed of the Wyrm. Mating frequently devolves into violent orgies of Dancers and their mates, and telling whose pup was whose is next to impossible.
